I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Mass Communications and Political Science. At Berkeley, I served as the Editor-in-Chief for the student publication, The Wire, interned as a journalist at The Children's Advocate,  and worked for the  Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Currently, I am interning at Westminster City Hall. In the Fall of 2010, I plan to pursue my Masters in Public Policy at Brown University.
Both my fascination of  the evolving new media and my knack for the written word bring me to Patch. My goal is to present accessible, truthful, and unbiased information that will empower the Manhattan Beach public, and give them the necessary tools to be informed, active citizens.
