Vanessa Bezic, Neighbor

Vanessa Bezic is a bilingual TV/Web journalist and tech enthusiast.

She previously worked as a reporter, photographer and editor (one-man band reporter) at Univision Los Angeles KMEX-TV and at the Kansas NBC affiliate KSNT-TV; as a field producer and assistant producer at KEYT–TV; and as a field producer at WGN-TV.

She is a Southern California native and a proud Lakers fan. Vanessa left Torrance Beach to brave the "Windy City" and study journalism at Northwestern University.

Since then, Vanessa's plunged herself into the ever-changing world of social media and online production/management.

She worked for Republic Lagun and for MySpace's sister company, Slingshot Labs, where she helped produce the start-up Dailyfill.com and was responsible for managing the site's CMS, gathering online content and editing news stories. Currently Vanessa's been freelancing as a content web manager, reporter, photographer, editor and producer for numerous sites, including the most recent UnivisionLosAngeles.com.
