6 Manhattan Beach Athletes Go the Distance in Herbalife Triathlon LA
Manhattan Beach competitors complete Herbalife Triathlon LA.
Six Manhattan Beach residents competed in the Herbalife Triathlon LA Sunday, according to online race results.
Tom Stekol, 51, boasted the best time, finishing in 99th place overall and fourth in his division.
Others who completed the race are Stephen Sinkus, 38, Eric Turner, 38, Adam Goldston, 47, Laura Boroch, 39, and Jake Rome, 41. Boroch took 8th place in her division, Goldston 14th in his, Sinkus and Turner 26th and 27th respectively, and Rome 51st.
Kevin Everett, 38, of Boise ID, took first place in one hour, 52 minutes and 28 seconds. The first place woman was Radka Vodickova, 29, of the Czech Republic, in two hours, 3 minutes and seven seconds.
