Assembly Passes Butler's Veterans' Courts Bill

A bill by state Assemblywoman Betsy Butler that would create Veterans' Courts throughout the state passes the Assembly and moves onto the state Senate.

Memorial Set for Aegean Crash Victims

Erynne Hart of Pennekamp, Rebecca Allen of Manhattan Beach Middle School, Sondra Abrams of Pacific, Anne Carlin of Robinson, Linda Gesualdi of Mira Costa High, Jennifer Simon of Meadows, Tanya Sanchez of Grand View, and Jane Gervais of Manhattan Beach Preschool were named Teachers of the Year for the 2011-2012 school year at the May 17, 2012, school board meeting.
