Annual Pumpkin Race to Close Some Streets, Parking Lots Downtown

Bicyclists will be asked to walk their bikes on the Bike Path.

Manhattan Beach Police are advising residents of street and parking lot closures for the Annual Pumpkin Race on Saturday and Sunday in Downtown Manhattan Beach.

Pumpkin Race Street & Parking Lot Closures

From 6 p.m. Saturday to 8p.m. Sunday:
  • Manhattan Beach Blvd. will be closed from Ocean Drive to the Pier
  • Upper and lower Pier parking lots will be closed
From 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday:
  • Manhattan Beach Blvd. will be closed from Manhattan Avenue to the Pier
  • Ocean Drive will be closed from Center Place to 10th Place
For the safety of bicyclists on the Bike Path, “Walk Your Bike” signage will be posted beginning 6 p.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday (from 12th Place to 10th Place).
