A parade honoring the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings was held today in Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach.
The players were aboard Toyota Tundras for the parade that began at the Redondo Beach Pier and concluded at The Strand House restaurant at Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue. A portion of the parade was on the Strand in Hermosa Beach.
All but one of the Kings' players live in either Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach, as do coach Darryl Sutter and general manager Dean Lombardi. The exception is defenseman Willie Mitchell, who lives in Venice, according to The New York Times.
The parade was the team's second in three days. The Kings were also honored with a parade in downtown Los Angeles Monday.
