Today's South Bay Kings Parade Is the REAL Homecoming

All but one of the Kings' players live in either Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach

A parade honoring the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings will be held today in Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach.

The players will be aboard 15 Toyota Tundras for the expected 90-minute parade that will begin at 3 p.m. at the Redondo Beach Pier and conclude at The Strand House restaurant at Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue. A portion of the parade will be on the Strand in Hermosa Beach.

All but one of the Kings' players live in either Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach, as do coach Darryl Sutter and general manager Dean Lombardi. The exception is defenseman Willie Mitchell, who lives in Venice, according to The New York Times.
