Born in Belarus, Slava Kagan-Paley shares his home between Israel and Moscow. He made his debut in 1987 with the Leningrad Philharmonic as a soloist in Schumann's Requiem. With his vocal training completed at the Guildhall School in London, he has performed in recitals and operas in leading concert halls worldwide. His Ave Maria CD was the number one selling classical CD in Japan, and Vocalise won Grand Prix as “Album of the Year” in 1997. He has toured Israel, France, China, Russia - from recitals with pianist Boris Berezovsky to solos with orchestras to recording for Sony Epic.
