MB Post Gets Prestigious Nod
The nearly year-old restaurant and its chef receive James Beard nominations for Best New Restaurant and Best Chef, Pacific region.
Manhattan Beach Post has garnered two award nominations in what is known as the "Oscars" of the food world, the 2012 James Beard Foundation Awards.
Chef David LeFevre and his shining star restaurant have made it into the semi-finalist round, joining 15 other restaurants from across the nation in the Best New Restaurant category. LeFevre joins 15 chefs in the Best Chef, Pacific category.
Finalists will be announced on March 19 and the award will be presented in New York on May 7.

Open Table, an online restaurant reservation system that awards points to diners who book tables using the service, has an easy-to-read list of the nationwide nominations.
If you haven't dined at The Soulful Social House: MB Post, do make a reservation. Walk-ins are welcome but seats can be hard to find given the demand for Chef LeFevre's creative creations.
