It was pink galore on Sunday as Beckers Bakery in Manhattan Beach decked out the bakery and its sweet concoctions in pink to help raise funds for breast cancer research.
The store's entire displays were turned pink and featured Pink cupcakes, pink frosting, pink shirts, pink sprinkles, pink cookies. The host of pink sweet treats were sold throughout the day with 20 percent of the day's sales going towards breast cancer research and programs.
Bakery owner Todd Becker said last week that he hoped the day would raise community spirit around the well-known breast cancer awareness month.
"Customers loved it," said Becker. "Our first-annual pink day was a success."
