City Adds 2 EV Charging Stations

Four Clipper Creek electric vehicle charging stations are now available in the lower Civic Center parking garage at 13th Street and Morningside Drive, said City Manager David Carmany, who noted these are the first public-use stations installed by the city.

The charging stations are located on the west side of the parking garage and offer up to 2 hours of use per charge. Carmany said, "The charging stations are 'priced at zero' -  no fee to park.

"The installations of these stations comes at no cost to the city," he noted, "and was made possible through a grant from the California Energy Commission."
