New Cultural Arts Manager in Manhattan Beach

The city of Manhattan Beach has hired Anisa Hamdan as its cultural arts manager, a position in which she will be responsible for developing, enhancing and administering the city’s cultural arts program. 

She has more than 13 years of experience in operations, program development, production and cultural arts management positions, said City Manager David Carmany. 

“Anisa Hamdan brings an impressive background and hands on experience to our cultural arts program,” said Carmany. “With her background and degree from the UCLA School of Theatre, Film & Television, she will make a great addition to our cultural arts team, and we are looking forward to the new insights and ideas she’ll bring to the table, adding a new level of excitement to the program.” 

The Manhattan Beach cultural arts program offers a broad range of events and activities in the arts with programs for all ages. Some of its offerings include art classes, lectures about art, concerts and dance performances, the placement of art in public places, theater productions, exhibitions, visual art camps and classes, and various performing arts classes and camps.
