12th Annual Matt Johnson Memorial Blood Drive

The Manhattan Beach Fire Department hosts its 12th annual blood drive in honor of Manhattan Beach native, Matt Johnson. After a two-year battle with leukemia, Matt passed away in 2000 at 14 years old. 

All blood donated will be used for patients at Long Beach Memorial and Miller Children’s.

To donate blood you must bring a valid photo I.D., weigh at least 110 lbs and be in healthy condition.

Sunday, October 2, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
