A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words—or More

I’m always amazed the amount of artistic & creative talent there is out there! This talent comes in many forms such as art/photography. 

Take Michael B Harrington, born and bred Manhattan Beach and his latest photography work. His use of images, landscapes and people combined with phrases andwords is refreshing and thought provoking. That is the beauty of art—it's up for interpretation and having the artist attach his/her phrases to it, provides even more for the art aficionado (or novice, in my case) to ponder.

So, as the old adage goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words"—and perhaps even more so, if the picture has words on it?

Well, you can decide for yourself.  Michael B. Harrington is having a special showing of his latest photography work this Saturday, Oct. 15 at Twelve + Highland (304 12th Street) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Love to hear what you think.
