Poll: How About an L.A. Kings Parade in Manhattan Beach?!

With so much media attention descending on Manhattan Beach now that the Kings have won the Stanley Cup and MB resident Maria Sharapova the French Open, maybe we should have a celebratory parade, eh?!

NBC and KTLA TV news vans have been in Manhattan Beach Tuesday and Wednesday, looking for the scoop on Los Angeles Kings players who live in the city.

NBC caught up with team captain Dustin Brown getting his beard shaved off and his locks trimmed at Boy Roy's Salon downtown. Wednesday, a KTLA van was parked in front of Peet's Coffee downtown, undoubtedly trying to get locals to talk about their heroes.

Saturday night, MB resident Maria Sharapova couldn't be found at the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation's 18th Annual Manhattan Wine Auction and the L.A. Kings table sat empty.
