The Manhattan Beach community lost a living legend on May 14th when Wilmer Drake died after a brief battle with pneumonia.
The 95-year-old had made countless contributions to the city over the decades, participating heavily in the Manhattan Beach Historical Society. Last May, he rode in the city's centennial parade.
