What is the city's most important issue? I think the city's biggest issue is the water shortage.
If you could change one thing about Manhattan Beach, what would it be? Only thing I'd change is the traffic on Sepulveda during rush hour. Well, let's be honest, even not during rush hour.

What is your favorite Manhattan Beach memory? My favorite memory is walking my twin boys down to the pier on Saturday morning with my husband. The boys love looking at all the activity downtown and it's a great start to our day.
Name something you've always wanted to do out here but have been nervous or too busy to try. I've always wanted to do the Hometown 10k, but haven't yet. One of these days I'll get around to it.
Where is your favorite place in town to eat, shop or relax? Fave place to eat—well, I have a few. For a burg' and a beer, Simmzy's for sure—so fun and always delish! Other faves are Rock 'N Fish, Fusion Sushi, and Tin Roof. For shopping, I love strolling the boutiques in downtown Manhattan Beach, and for relaxing, I just visited the Trilogy Spa at Metlox for the first time. It was really nice; great staff and cozy rooftop deck.
