Convenience Store Robbed

MBPD is asking for assistance identifying the suspect who escaped with cash.

Police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed the 7-Eleven at 1221 Artesia Blvd. on March 30 at about 1:21 a.m.

The suspect is described as a black male between the age of 35-40 years old, unshaven with dark skin, 5’8”-5’9” tall with a stocky build weighing between 200-210 lbs, said Manhattan Beach Police Detective Michael Rosenberger.

The man was last seen wearing dark pants and a large parka with a fur hood pulled over his head.

Inside the 7-Eleven, the suspect shoved the store clerk several times while demanding cash, said Rosenberger, then fled with cash.
