High School Students Experience Crime First Hand

August was not a great month in terms of crime in Manhattan Beach. The city saw a spike in residential burglaries.

Adults aren't the only ones in Manhattan Beach worried about the spike seen in August.

Several Mira Costa High School students spoke with La Vista, the high school's award-winning paper, about their own personal experience of being robbed by gun of their cell phones during daylight hours and responding to neighbors who were tied up and held at gun point.
