MB Photographer Captures Collision Scene

Charlie Scholz was nearby when he heard so much commotion that he had to grab his camera and go see what was happening Wednesday night around 11:30 p.m. His shots capture the extensive damage to an MBPD patrol car.

Manhattan Beach resident Charlie Scholz captured several shots of the collision scene shortly after it happened.

"I heard the choppers, grabbed my camera and walked over to Sepulveda [Boulevard]," he wrote in an email. Scholz was two blocks west of the collision scene staying at his mom's house while his dad was away.

Here are the photos.
