MBPD Officer Tony Presgraves is in stable but guarded condition after sustaining "significant injuries" in an on-duty two-car collision around 11 p.m. Wednesday, said MBPD Chief Eve Irvine.

Presgraves, the department's 2011 Officer of the Year, is in the intensive care unit at a local hospital. He has been with MBPD for 10 years and in law enforcement for 20, said Irvine.
