Parking Lot Robber Steals Woman's Purse, Phone in Manhattan Village

A robber forcibly took a woman's cell phone and purse in a Manhattan Village shopping center parking lot on Black Friday, according to a police report.

The strong arm robbery happened between 8:13 and 8:18 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. Sepulveda Boulevard.

The robber, described as a black male about 20 years old and 6' tall, approached a the woman from behind, fleeing on foot when he got her goods. The woman, who sustained a small cut to her finger, declined medical attention.

This sort of crime is unacceptable in Manhattan Beach. This needs to stop.
