All lanes of southbound Sepulveda Boulevard in Manhattan Beach are open after a double-fatal traffic collision closed the street down around 5:25 a.m. Tuesday. In addition, one northbound lane has re-opened, said police.

The collision, in which an 87-year-old Manhattan Beach woman and a 41-year-old Torrance man were pronounced dead at the scene, closed northbound and southbound access between Second Street and Manhattan Beach Boulevard while authorities conducted an investigation.

Liz, thanks for your tireless work, at all hours, to keep us informed about what happens in Manhattan Beach. This is a very sad story indeed. And it seems that motorcycle accidents, and accidents in general, occur disproportionately on this stretch of Sepulveda.

Is it just me or is this "Black Humor" at its worst. The photo highlighting Collision Center. Don't like it and out of respect for the family I suggest taking it down.
