Suspected MB Bank Robber Strikes Again

The man believed to have held up a bank in Manhattan Village in March has struck again, this time on the Westside.

The man wanted for robbing a bank in Manhattan Beach on March 29 is suspected of robbing a Pacific Palisades bank today, said Detective Michael Rosenberger of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

The man brandished a handgun when he robbed the Pacific Western Bank at 15310 Sunset Boulevard and fled on a bicycle, similar to what the suspect who committed the MB bank robbery in Manhattan Village at U.S. Bank, 3300 N. Sepulveda Blvd., did.

According to Pacific Palisades Patch, the man is described as a white male "possibly older than 40 with a receding hairline." He was wearing a blue polo shirt, blue jeans and carrying a black handgun at the time of the robbery, according to dispatcher Denise Montelongo, who said the suspect fled the bank with approximately $2,000.
