City Services Schedules for 4th of July Week

Here's what you need to know about your waste collection and street sweeping services this week!

Waste collection and street sweeping services will take Independence Day off, as will staff at city hall, according to the city's website.

In addition, government offices, courts, schools, libraries, banks and post offices will be closed Wednesday for Independence Day.

Waste Management, the city waste hauler, will adjust its schedule for the remainder of the week, picking up waste one day later than it usually does for areas serviced Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Residents whose waste is typically collected on Wednesday will be collected this week on Thursday; waste usually collected on Thursday will be picked up on Friday, and waste that is traditionally picked up on Friday will be collected on Saturday.
