ABC TV News Reports on RPV Dog Beach

The Rancho Palos Verdes City Council changes its mind about a pilot dog beach program they'd previously approved. Some are happy, some sad, some mad as officials for Trump and Heal The Bay get their way.

The dogs in Manhattan Beach may not be barking and howling but you can be sure they or their owners will once word of the closure of the unofficial dog beach in Rancho Palos Verdes hits them.

Tuesday night, the RPV City Council elected to rescind a pilot dog beach program they'd previously approved. Long a place where dog owners have taken their pets to romp in the ocean and on the beach, most leash free, the City Council first decided to test a pilot program.

Now, after receiving input from residents and others, the city council has decided to not officially make the shoreline below the cliffs at Trump National Golf Course a place for pooches and their owners.
