Shade Hotel presented Manhattan Beach Middle School with a check for $22,600 Friday.
Proceeds were raised from Shade’s annual Ultimate Wine Festival held this past April.

After the check presentation, teachers Ro Schreiner (with MBMS for 52 years), Doris Giambra (with MBMS for 48 years), and Nancy Stansbury (with MBMS for 22 years) announced their retirement and were recognized for their service to MBMS and the community.
