Mira Costa Play Brings Laughter

Drama students of Mira Costa High School perfect their sets before Friday's opening of "You Can't Take It With You," a 1936 comedic play.

After two grueling months of lines and rehearsals, Mira Costa drama students are ready to showcase their first play of the school year. "You Can't Take It With You," a comedic play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, opens Friday evening.

Audiences can expect explosions, drunkenness and bad dancing in this highly entertaining story about two entirely different families searching for identity.

"[The play] has a really important message about people following their heart and doing what they want to do with their lives," said director Luke Yankee.
