Beach Cities Friends raises awareness and funds for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles and they are hosting a Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament to benefit their favorite non-profit organization. All beach cities poker players, experienced and novice, are encouraged to register online at www.regonline.com/pokerparty. There is a $200 buy-in with the opportunity to win prize money and support an organization that is building decent, affordable and sustainable homes for hardworking families and individuals. Since Beach Cities Friends began their partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles they have funded nine homes - the most recent being a home that was completed last year in Lawndale.
