High Schoolers Teach English, Self Defense to Underprivileged Women in India

The sisters reflect on their experience.

Two Mira Costa High School students spent nearly a month in India this summer to complete their Girl Scout Gold Award project, according to La Vista, the high school newspaper.

Meera and Pooja Nagpal taught self defense and English language classes to underprivileged teenage youths in the mountain village of Subathu.
