Dominique Fong is a Calendar Editor at Patch. She graduated in May from the University of Southern California with majors in print journalism and political science, with a minor in entrepreneurship.

At USC, she produced a talk show, worked on the Daily Trojan, and relaunched Bamboo Offshoot, a magazine for the Asian Pacific American community.

She has interned for Silicon Valley Community Newspapers, the Los Angeles Business Journal and Angeleno magazine. She's continuing to explore the convergence of news, media and communication leadership, and in May, she participated in a USC Annenberg-Marshal-Viterbi News Entrepreneur Fellowship, where she worked with a team to propose various mobile news strategies for the Los Angeles Times. She was also selected to participate in the inaugural class of student scholars at the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy.

She's continuing to develop her fluency in French, Spanish and Cantonese, and she plans to work in France as a journalist in the near future.

She's also full of random, amusing thoughts, which she's always happy to share with friends and strangers alike. If you catch her while she's staring off into space, it's because she thinks something is really weird and fascinating.
